Visual Merchandising
In FMD 356, I worked in a group to organize, design, and create different types of visual merchandising techniques used amongst stores. I was responsible in correlating the decoration with the theme within the display, accessorizing the mannequins, and positioning the mannequins to match with the aesthetic of the brand and theme. Down below you will see a window display, shadow box, a floor layout, a pin-up display, and a wall display.
Window Display
In this course, we had to create two different window displays for different seasons and brands. My group and I decided to do a summer collection for Frankie's Bikinis and a holiday collection for Aerie. Below you will see a mood board for each collection along with pictures of the final display with close-ups.

Shadow Box
For this shadow box display, we decided to do luxury brand Gucci perfume. As luxury brands are more well known on using shadow box displays to showcase their products to their consumers. Below you will see the mood board along with the final box display with close-ups.

Floor Layout
Floor layouts are very crucial in engaging the consumers to look and trail throughout the store. Within this display we included three different level mannequins to entice the target market to into this section and shop Nike Women's new athleisure collection.

Pin-Up Display
A pin-up display is a similar display to showcase an outfit but on a wall. My group and I decided to use the brand Nasty Gal and make the pin-up decor as a social media post to incorporate the brands value of using social media platforms to connect with their young adult trendy consumers.

Wall Display
A wall display are also crucial in the store layout because the display could help lead the consumers into buying multiple outfits, help them create an outfit, and help declutter overstock of an item by showcasing it as an outfit necessity. Down below you will see a wall display for GAP's winter collection for their women's department.
